Dr. Margot Lemmen

Margot Lemmen studied medicine at Radboud University Nijmegen. During her studies, she gained international experience in Lesotho (Africa), where she worked in a mission hospital for four months. This experience inspired her later commitment to medical aid in developing countries.
After her medical exam, she began her surgical training at Franciscus Gasthuis in Rotterdam. She then completed her specialization in plastic surgery at Dijkzigt Hospital (now Erasmus MC), where she further focused on hand surgery, reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.

From 1996, Dr. Lemmen worked as a plastic surgeon at Amphia Hospital. Her expertise encompasses both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. She has particularly specialized in: Eyelid corrections, labia corrections, ear corrections, abdominal wall corrections, breast reductions, breast reconstructions after cancer and hand surgery.
In addition to her work in the operating room, she has also actively contributed to patient education and colleague training. She has given lectures on breast reconstructive techniques.
