Het begon in 2005

Zussen Esther Litjens-Meijer en Stephanie Litjens openden in 2005 de allereerste Soap Treatment Store aan de Spuistraat in Amsterdam. Direct een succes. Zo succesvol zelfs, dat de tweede locatie aan de Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam-Zuid en de stores in Den Haag, Rotterdam, Eindhoven en Utrecht al snel volgden.

De visie was toen al helder: de beste behandelingen, de beste mensen, onder één dak. Toegankelijk voor iedereen.

A small piece of history

In 2013, the cosmetic clinics, Doctors at Soap, were added to the Soap Treatment Stores. We made undergoing a medical-cosmetic treatment accessible for everyone: long opening hours, affordable, easy booking, free consultations, and the best coffee.

With a team of top cosmetic doctors and medical assistants, all additionally internally trained to work according to our own No Trace Face® philosophy and techniques: you should never look treated, but rather fresher, younger and more rested.

In the meantime, skin therapy has also become an important part of Doctors at Soap. A team of HBO-educated skin therapists in combination with the best laser equipment and skin improvement products can effectively treat any skin concern and unwanted hair.

Soap Clinics: ook surgery

In 2025 voegde Soap surgery toe aan het menu. Niet zomaar. Met een zorgvuldig samengesteld team van plastisch chirurgen dat staat voor dezelfde precisie en kwaliteit die Soap altijd al heeft geboden. Bij Soap Clinics kun je terecht voor ooglidcorrecties, brow lifts, schaamlipcorrecties en meer. Uitgevoerd door plastisch chirurgen in volledig ingerichte poliklinische operatiekamers, ondersteund door ervaren assistenten.

Our drive and passion

The entire Soap team strives to make everyone fall in love with themselves a little bit again.

Sometimes the image you see in the mirror is not the same as the image you have of yourself. You feel young, but your mirror says something else. Because of wrinkles, a skin issue that just won't go away. Or that one insecurity that makes you avoid the mirror. A shame.

At Soap, with a little help, we ensure that your self-image and mirror image come together again. To look at yourself with pride again. And to fall in love with yourself again. Because, ultimately, it's not about how others look at you, but how you look at yourself.
