At SOAP, we look beyond just your weight. During every Weight Session, we analyze your body with an advanced Body Scale. This way, we measure not only your BMI, but also your Body Roundness Index (BRI): an additional measure that, based on your body shape and waist circumference, provides a more complete picture of your body and the health risks associated with excess body fat.
Additionally, we map out, among other things, your muscle mass, fat percentage, visceral fat, and other health values. This way we see not only how much weight you lose, but mainly how your body changes.
By combining this comprehensive body analysis with medical expertise, we can accurately track your progress and adjust the treatment plan where necessary. This makes our guidance more personal, targeted, and effective, aiming for a healthy and sustainable result.
How does it work?
Make an appointment with one of our medical weight loss doctors. Don't have much time to come to a location? No worries, you can always schedule a video consultation at a time that suits you.
You will receive an email with our medical questionnaire to prepare for your appointment. During the consultation, your exact BRI will be measured, you will receive advice on which medication is best for you, get answers to all your questions, and you can start right away.
The assistant immediately schedules a number of check-ins with you, because your doctor wants to continually know how you are doing during the program.
The doctor sends your prescription to the pharmacy affiliated with us, and you receive the medication package at home. Of course, you will receive an email with instructions and all contact details, so you can always ask the questions you have.
Note: the Medical Weight Loss program is only suitable for people with a BMI of 27 or higher.
What do the first months of your program look like?
The first months are focused on a good and safe start. We guide you intensively so that your body can get used to the medication and we can closely monitor your progress. By combining medical supervision with lifestyle coaching and comprehensive body analyses, we lay the foundation for sustainable weight loss together.
Step 1 | Intake with the doctor and lifestyle coach
You start with a comprehensive 30-minute intake. The doctor assesses whether you qualify for medication and discusses your health, medical history, and personal goals. Together with the lifestyle coach, you create a treatment plan that suits your situation.
During this first appointment, we also conduct a comprehensive InBody measurement. This maps your body composition and establishes a reliable baseline measurement to track your progress during the process.
You will also receive an explanation of the medication, nutrition, lifestyle and what to expect during the process.
Step 2 | After approximately 3 weeks: Weight & Coach Session
After about three weeks, we will see you back for a personal coaching and weight session. We discuss how the first weeks have gone, answer your questions and evaluate any side effects. We also repeat the InBody measurement to make your progress transparent and to assess how your body responds to the treatment. Based on the results, the treatment or dosage can be adjusted if necessary.
Step 3 | After about 3.5 months: Medical evaluation
After the initial treatment period, a medical evaluation with the doctor follows. We discuss the results achieved, assess whether the medication and dosage are still appropriate, and look forward to the next phase of the process together. Depending on your wishes and needs, you can choose to continue with medication alone or with additional lifestyle coaching.
