Marieke studied medicine at the University of Leiden, with an additional internship in plastic surgery at the Groene Hart Hospital in Gouda. She completed her general practitioner training at the University of Utrecht in 2011.

In 2018, her fascination for cosmetic medicine won again. She returned to eyelid corrections and trained in injectables in London and Paris.

Besides the aesthetic aspect, Marieke has specialized in medical applications, including migraine treatment, excessive sweating in prosthesis users, and scar correction. It is precisely this combination of medical precision and aesthetic insight that makes her approach so complete.
