What are duckface lips?
You know duckface lips from the selfie pose: you push your lips into a pout and suck your cheeks in a little. That makes your lips look fuller and your face slimmer.
The pose took off in the days of Myspace and the first camera phones, and back then it was also called Myspace face. Today people also use the word for lips that look that way without the pose.

From duckface to Gen Z pout
The duckface is now considered cringe. The Gen Z pout has taken over: a soft pout instead of pushed-out lips. Where the duckface still imitated overfilled lips, the pout goes with the subtler lip flip.
That shift fits the way we look at lips. Fuller lips are not a goal in themselves. What looks beautiful depends on the balance between your upper and lower lip, your profile and how your lips relate to your nose and chin.

Building up gradually. We never use more product than needed. Sometimes less is exactly enough.
Small accents. With thin lips, a little more volume in the lower lip, a sharper cupid's bow or just hydration sometimes already gives the effect you are looking for.

Prefer a subtle pout? Think lip flip
A lip flip makes your upper lip look fuller, without fillers. The doctor injects a small amount of botulinum toxin into the muscle around your upper lip, so your lip subtly rolls outwards and more of your lip line becomes visible.
A lip filler adds volume, a lip flip does not. That makes the flip one of the ways to get fuller lips without fillers.
