SMART SCIENCE
Hyaluronic acid isn't a foreign substance. You make it yourself, and it's found in your skin, joints and eyes, among other places. Its most important property: it binds moisture, keeping your skin supple and firm.
In a filler our doctors use a gel form of that same substance. The gel gives support and volume exactly where you want it, without your face losing its own movement.
That your body recognises it is the practical advantage: hyaluronic acid is gradually broken down again, and it can be dissolved in the meantime.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Every treatment starts with a free consult. Your doctor looks at your face at rest and in motion, listens to what you want to achieve and creates a tailored plan with you.
Then the doctor places the hyaluronic acid with a fine needle or a cannula, in small amounts at a time. Along the way you assess the result together.
Afterwards you simply carry on with your day. Want to build it up gradually? That's possible: your doctor discusses when a follow up appointment makes sense.
