Some zones can be treated with either. For smoker's lines, a filler fills the line, while botulinum toxin relaxes the small muscles around your mouth. In your chin, a filler adds projection, and botulinum toxin relaxes the chin muscle. During your free consult, the doctor advises what suits your wishes.

You see fillers straight after the treatment, and after two to four weeks the result is at its best. On average it lasts around six months to over a year.
Botulinum toxin usually works within 2 to 7 days, with the full result after about 2 weeks. The effect lasts 3 to 6 months. For the best and longest-lasting result, your doctor may advise repeating the treatment over time.
