29 OKTOBER 2026
What should you avoid after fillers? Skip intense exercise, the sauna, sunbeds and a steaming hot shower for the first 24 to 48 hours, leave alcohol for the first day and touch the treated area as little as possible. That keeps your result looking its best.

DAY ONE
A little rest and patience in the first few days, and you will fully enjoy your result. Leave the treated area alone and touch it as little as possible, so the filler can settle calmly into place.
Drink enough water and take it easy on the day itself. Do not massage or press on the treated area, unless your doctor explicitly advises you to.
)
TAKE A BREAK
Skip intense exercise for the first 24 to 48 hours. The same goes for the sauna, the sunbed and a steaming hot shower. After that, you simply pick up your usual routine again.
Not sure whether your workout counts as intense? Ask your doctor, who tells you exactly what to keep in mind during the treatment.

CHEERS, LATER
Leave alcohol for the first day. That first day is all about rest: no alcohol, no intense workout and no heat from the sauna or sunbed.
Drink enough water instead.
)
SWEET DREAMS
Preferably sleep with your head slightly raised on the first night. The general guideline is to sleep on your back for the first 24 to 48 hours, so your pillow does not press against the treated area.
That way you avoid contact with the treated areas as much as possible, and the filler can settle calmly into place. After that, you simply sleep on your side again.

GLOW, LATER
Postpone a facial, peel or massage for a week or two. The result of your fillers is at its best after two to four weeks, and after that you simply book your next glow appointment again.
)
BARE FACE, FIRST
It is best to skip make-up for the first few hours. When you apply something again after that, preferably do not rub the treated area.
Touch the area as little as possible when removing your make-up too.
DO'S
Drink enough water.
Sleep with your head slightly raised on the first night.
Take it easy on the day itself.
Leave the treated area alone and touch it as little as possible.
