Which brand of botulinum toxin do we use

In our clinic we deliberately only work with Azzalure and Relfydess, both from Galderma. In our view, these are the best brands of botulinum toxin on the market in terms of purity and natural result. Other well-known brands such as Botox (Allergan), Bocouture (Merz), and Alluzience (Galderma) we deliberately do not use.

What if I am not satisfied?

Two weeks after your treatment, we schedule a follow-up. If a muscle is still too active or something turns out differently than we discussed, we will adjust. That is part of the treatment and costs nothing extra.

A Botox treatment should not be noticeable, at most freshen up. At Doctors At Soap in Oisterwijk, we work with a steady hand and eye for proportion, so it just looks good without giving the impression of being treated.

What does Botox actually do

Botox relaxes small muscles in the face that cause mimic wrinkles. The muscle calms down for a short time, the skin above it smooths out, and fine lines fade from view. The effect lasts an average of three to four months.

Difference between Azzalure and Relfydess

Azzalure and Relfydess both come from Galderma but differ in formulation. Azzalure is the proven classic with fine dosing and years of clinical data, suitable for subtle and predictable results. Relfydess is the latest generation, with a faster onset effect and no human albumin in the composition. Which we choose depends on your face, your goal, and previous treatments.

Recovery time and results

You can get back to work right after the treatment, no downtime. The effect builds up between day 3 and day 14, with the full result around two weeks. The effect lasts on average 3 to 4 months, sometimes longer with regular treatments where the muscle adapts.

Aftercare

• No intensive sports on the treatment day

• No sauna, hot tub or sunbed in the first 24 hours
