What does Mounjaro cost per month at SOAP?
What Mounjaro costs at SOAP depends on the dose our doctor prescribes. For Mounjaro 2.5 mg you pay €299 per month. The price of Mounjaro 5 mg is €399 per month.
For Mounjaro 7.5 mg and 10 mg the monthly price is €499. The 12.5 mg dose costs €599 per month and for 15 mg you pay €649 per month. So there's no fixed Mounjaro price for every programme.
All rates apply per month and per prescribed dose.

Which factors determine Mounjaro costs?
The prescribed dose has the most influence on the costs. The registered starting dose is 2.5 mg per week and is increased to 5 mg after four weeks. A further increase only happens if medically appropriate, in steps of 2.5 mg.
Our doctor decides your dose. If it changes during the programme, your monthly price can change too. Never adjust your dose yourself to save costs or get results faster.
The treatment duration and any extra coaching also affect the total. With three months of medication you get €50 discount, and with six months €100. An additional 30 minute coaching session costs €50.
What medical guidance do you get at SOAP?

Our Medical Weight Loss programme consists of medication when our doctor prescribes it, medical check ups, body measurements and guidance on nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.
Free intake with a doctor and lifestyle coach
Beforehand you fill in a medical questionnaire. During the 30 minute intake we discuss your health, medical history, goals and expectations. We assess whether medication may be medically appropriate and do an InBody baseline measurement.Weight & Coach after about three weeks
We discuss how the first weeks went, answer your questions and evaluate any side effects. We also repeat the InBody measurement. Based on the medical assessment your treatment plan or dose can be adjusted.Medical evaluation after about three and a half months
Our doctor assesses your progress and discusses whether the medication and dose still suit you. Then we decide how your programme can responsibly continue.Periodic check ups when continuing

Who can Mounjaro be suitable for?
Mounjaro contains tirzepatide and is injected under the skin once a week. For weight management it's registered as an addition to a low calorie diet and more exercise.
It can be prescribed to adults with a BMI from 30, or from 27 with at least one weight related condition.
The SOAP programme is intended for people with a BMI from 27, but that doesn't automatically make Mounjaro suitable. During the free consult our doctor assesses your health, medical history, medication and possible risks, among other things.
COVERED OR SELF-PAID
Is Mounjaro covered by insurance in 2026?
As of 26 August 2026, no general coverage from the basic package has been set for Mounjaro for overweight or obesity. Zorginstituut Nederland is still assessing this application.
For certain adults with type 2 diabetes Mounjaro can be covered under specific conditions. These conditions were expanded as of 1 May 2026. So a prescription doesn't automatically entitle you to coverage.
The amounts mentioned are SOAP's monthly prices. Always check your personal coverage with your health insurer and pharmacy.
What does Mounjaro cost for 3, 6 or 12 months?
FLEXIBLE BY DESIGN
The total costs depend on the doses our doctor prescribes during your programme. That's why not every programme can be calculated in advance with a single monthly price.
One month: you pay the rate for the prescribed dose.
Three months: when purchasing medication for three months you get €50 discount. The total still depends on the prescribed doses.
Six months: when purchasing medication for six months you get €100 discount. Here too, dose changes can affect the total price.
Twelve months: we don't state a fixed annual amount, because your dose and treatment plan can change during the programme. Our current price pages don't list a separately confirmed rate or discount for twelve months.
A calculation where you multiply one monthly price by twelve may therefore not match the final cost of your programme. During your consult we explain which rates and conditions apply to your situation.

Mounjaro or Ozempic: what suits your programme?
Mounjaro contains tirzepatide and Ozempic semaglutide. The medicines also differ in registration, doses and price. After a medical assessment our doctor decides which option may be suitable.
The choice isn't about the lowest price, but about your medical indication, other medication and possible risks. Sometimes the doctor advises a different treatment plan or no medication at all.
