When do you choose fillers, and when botox?

Botox and fillers work in different ways. Botox relaxes the mimic muscles and is intended for lines caused by movement, such as frown lines or crow's feet. Fillers, on the other hand, restore volume in areas where it has disappeared over the years or bring subtle balance to facial contours. Sometimes a combination of both is the right choice. During the consultation we will honestly discuss what best suits your desire.

Which brand of filler do we use

We work exclusively with Restylane from Galderma, a hyaluronic acid filler with a long track record and extensive scientific backing. Hyaluronic acid is a substance found naturally in our skin. If you are not satisfied with the result, we can dissolve it with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down the filler.

What are the possible side effects

The most common side effects after a filler treatment are slight swelling, redness, or a bruise at the injection site. This usually disappears within a few days. We will fully discuss rare complications during the consultation so that you can make an informed decision.

How long does the result last

How long the result of a filler lasts depends on the location, the amount of filler, and your own metabolism. On average, a treatment with Restylane lasts six to eighteen months. After that, the hyaluronic acid gradually breaks down.

What does a filler treatment cost

How does the treatment proceed

The treatment itself usually lasts twenty to thirty minutes. We apply numbing cream, mark the injection sites, and treat according to a pre-discussed plan. Afterward, you can, in principle, continue with your day immediately, although we advise against extensive exercise or sun exposure for the first 24 hours.

What if I'm not satisfied
